Zinc Phosphating

BRS houses the equipment and expertise required to carry out the process of zinc phosphating for precision metal parts. Zinc Phosphate is an inorganic compound that appears as a white powder. Phosphating is a process in which a steel surface is converted to iron phosphate. Barely soluble metal phosphate layers are formed on the base material. A zinc phosphate coating is used as a pre-treatment before coating with paint, to increase the friction property of sliding parts, resist against corrosion and wear-and-tear and as protection against galling.
