Rear Brackets BS6
The customer for this process is Automotive Axles Limited. The input material used is a casting, which undergoes a series of precision machining operations including powder coating, horizontal boring, drilling, tapping, face milling, and face turning to achieve the required dimensional and surface finish standards. These operations are performed using advanced machines such as the HMC-400 XL and OMG Anoletti Turning, ensuring high precision, productivity, and consistent quality. The critical parameter for this process is the CAM bore, which must be maintained within a tight tolerance of ±0.035 mm to ensure proper assembly and functional reliability. In line with customer-specific requirements, the machined surfaces are subjected to powder coating and painting, and the critical parameters are verified through CMM inspection to ensure adherence to stringent quality standards.
